Welcome to AMCIS 2023 social impact program!

The conference committee undertook various initiatives to leave a positive societal impact on the local economy and the AIS community. The three main initiatives are highlighted below.

Technology Consulting Project
(Led by Animesh Animesh)- Empowering communities through technology for sustainable ecosystem preservation, biodiversity protection, and informed decision-making.
Social Outreach Project
(Led by Mauricio Marrone) – A series of seminars and workshops tailored for both academicians and practitioners within and around the beautiful city of Panama.
Social Inclusion Project
(Led by Guillermo Rodríguez-Abitia) – Inclusive Scholarships Promoting Diversity and Equal Opportunities at AMCIS 2023.
